POSITION: Director of Marketing Analytics & Performance
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (EST)
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.

Note: Independent contractor position

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

* Marketing Analytics & Performance Analyze marketing performance across multiple businesses, markets, service lines, channels, campaigns, and lead sources.
* Evaluate marketing investment based on lead volume, cost per lead, booking rates, conversion rates, average ticket, revenue, gross profit, CAC, and overall marketing ROI.
* Analyze the complete customer acquisition and lifecycle funnel from initial lead through booked call, completed job, revenue, and customer lifetime value.
* Identify underperforming channels and recommend where marketing spend should be reduced, reallocated, or eliminated.
* Identify high-performing channels, markets, and campaigns where additional investment may generate profitable growth.
* Investigate trends, anomalies, inconsistencies, and changes in marketing effectiveness.
* Connect marketing performance with operational and financial outcomes.
* Budget Allocation & Strategic Decision-Making Help leadership determine where the next marketing dollar should be invested.
* Develop recommendations for marketing budget allocation based on measurable financial performance.
* Build forecasts and scenarios to evaluate the expected impact of changes in marketing spend.
* Evaluate new marketing opportunities based on expected returns and business impact.
* Support annual budgeting and ongoing marketing forecasting.
* Monitor marketing spends against budgets and expected performance.
* Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency while maintaining profitable revenue growth.
* Evaluate diminishing returns across marketing channels and markets.
* Work with General Managers and leadership to align marketing investment with capacity, revenue objectives, and profitability goals.
* Data Analysis & Reporting Build and maintain advanced Excel models, dashboards, and performance reporting.
* Combine data from marketing platforms, ServiceTitan, call tracking systems, financial reporting, and other sources.
* Develop consistent marketing KPIs and reporting standards across the organization.
* Create weekly and monthly executive-level performance reports.
* Translate complex datasets into clear business recommendations.
* Audit marketing and operational data to identify inaccuracies or attribution issues.
* Investigate discrepancies between reported marketing performance and actual business results.
* Continuously improve the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of marketing reporting.
* ServiceTitan & Customer Analytics Analyze ServiceTitan data to evaluate marketing performance and customer acquisition.
* Review lead sources, campaign attribution, booking rates, conversion rates, completed jobs, revenue, average ticket, and related operational metrics.
* Connect marketing spend with downstream customer and revenue outcomes.
* Analyze customer lifecycle metrics, including acquisition, conversion, revenue, and lifetime value.
* Identify discrepancies in lead-source tracking and campaign attribution.
* Work with operating teams to improve data quality and reporting consistency.
* Develop reporting that combines marketing, operational, and financial data.
* Vendor & Agency Performance Evaluate marketing agencies, lead-generation partners, and other external vendors based on measurable results.
* Independently validate vendor-reported performance using internal data.
* Compare vendors and channels using consistent performance metrics.
* Identify situations where reported marketing results do not translate into revenue or profitability.
* Recommend changes to vendors, strategies, or spending when performance does not justify the investment.
* Participate in vendor meetings and use data to challenge assumptions and performance claims when appropriate.
