This is a remote position.

An SA company that sources top professionals to work remotely for Swiss companies, seeks to employ an experienced and data-driven German speaking Google Ads SEA Manager to join their digital marketing team. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising search engine advertising campaigns to achieve client objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional ROI for clients.

This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients’ digital marketing success. Suitable candidates will need to have a degree in information technology, business management, administration, sales or related field. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in SEA and Google tools is required. Candidates need to be fluent in both English and German. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive Google Ads (SEA) strategies aligned with client goals, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Keyword research: Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify relevant keywords and opportunities for campaigns.
  • Campaign management: Create, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, and video ads, to achieve client objectives.
  • Budget management: Monitor and optimise campaign budgets to maximise efficiency and ROI while staying within budget constraints.
  • Ad copywriting: Write compelling ad copy and create engaging ad creatives to drive clicks and conversions.
  • Performance analysis: Continuously monitor and analyse campaign performance using analytics tools, making data-driven optimisations.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on ad creatives, landing pages, and bidding strategies to improve campaign performance.
  • Client communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, provide regular campaign updates, and address their feedback and concerns.
  • Stay current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, Google Ads updates, and best practices to ensure campaign success.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with designers, copywriters, and other digital marketing team members to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Technical point-of-contact for all SEA questions during customer project

Requirements

  • Degree in information technology, business management, administration, sales or related field
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with SEA (company or agency)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with other Google tools (analytics, tag manager, search console, ads, data studio, conversion tracking
  • Google Ads certified
  • Analytical, data-driven and solution-orientated
  • Ability to understand and optimise processes from search to conversion, incorporating fundamental SEO practices
  • Proven success with ad campaigns, DSA, RDSA, remarketing, shopping ads, ad extensions
  • Technical ability to generate and measure conversions, and to find and solve any problem
  • Independent time and task management and efficient work method
  • Good linguistic abilities for copy and text
  • Ability to handle ad scripts will be advantageous
