Illustration is how the studio gives ingenuity a human face. We are not interested in stock or in the obvious style for the sector. We want an original hand that can serve an idea. You will build visual languages that belong to a founder or a brand, not to a trend.
What you will work on
Original illustration for brand, editorial, presentation, and campaign work.
Developing distinctive motifs and visual languages that belong to a specific brand or founder.
Spot illustration, iconography, and narrative sequences for decks and thought papers.
Working with brand and art direction so illustration is part of the system, not decoration laid over it.
What we are looking for
A portfolio with a clear, original point of view: either real range, or a signature style with depth behind it.
Command of vector and raster tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent).
The ability to work in brief and to brand while keeping the work alive.
Conceptual thinking: illustration that carries an idea, not only an aesthetic.
Helpful, not essential
Animation or motion.
Editorial illustration experience.
Lettering and type drawing.
How we work
We brief clearly, agree on the deliverables and the deadline, then trust you to run your own process in your own way. Respect runs both ways. We do not treat contractors as disposable, and we will not expect you to absorb problems that are not yours.
The engagement
Independent contractor, part-time or full-time, by agreement. Fully remote.
Rate by agreement, commensurate with experience and scope, billed against invoice.
Real autonomy over how and when you work, within agreed deliverables and deadlines.
Work that lands at a high standard, for founders and operators worth doing it for.
