Working Model: Remote

(within South Africa, ideally within commutable distance of Johannesburg)

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the definition, development, and execution of the sales strategy, as well as the full sales cycle, from initiation to closure. This will involve but not be limited to:

  • Actively hunting for business development and new opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Accurately assessing and qualifying opportunities to ensure sales effort and resources are expended effectively.
  • Undertaking and being accountable for all necessary lead-generation activities to drive the penetration of target organizations and generate new logo acquisition.
  • Drawing on resources from business development, marketing, and partners as needed to achieve this goal.
  • Developing compelling business cases to justify investment in Sapiens’s solutions.
  • Engaging and working confidently with Senior Business management and C-level executives to progress sales opportunities.
  • Providing weekly forecasts and hereby enable sales management to consolidate accurate projections.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of complex software sales experience within the Insurance industry.
  • A passion for penetrating new markets, detecting and leveraging new opportunities, and managing sales cycles from initiation up to closure.
  • A proven track record of high-value deals ($5m+) end-to-end management is a must.
  • A solid business understanding of Short-Term (P&C) and/or L&P, including the technology and platforms available.
  • A consultative sales approach.
  • The ability to influence and build trusted relationships with clients all the way up to C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Collaborative, Team player.
  • Experienced in working with large multinational corporations.
  • Lives in South Africa and is able to work without Visa/work permit support.
