Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Brand Community Manager to launch and scale a high-impact private online community from the ground up. This role is ideal for a proactive, emotionally intelligent operator with a strong builder mindset. In the initial phase, the primary focus will be on establishing a thriving digital community, with the opportunity to expand into a campus ambassador program as the community grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and grow a private online community (Circle.so or Facebook) to 500+ active members within the first 90 days.
Design and execute a structured engagement strategy, including daily prompts, weekly content themes, and monthly live events.
Foster meaningful peer-to-peer engagement and organic discussions within the community.
Develop systems and playbooks to support long-term community scalability.
Track and report on engagement metrics, member growth, and qualitative insights on a weekly basis.
Collaborate with leadership to align community initiatives with brand mission and customer experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing and scaling online communities (Facebook Groups, Circle.so, Mighty Networks, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to build programs or initiatives from scratch with minimal direction.
Strong communication skills with high emotional intelligence and sensitivity to community dynamics.
Experience designing and executing engagement strategies that drive active participation.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and timelines.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience building or managing campus ambassador programs or student communities.
Background in partnership development or working with organizations and student groups.
Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Klaviyo.
Experience planning and executing both virtual and in-person events.
