Key Let Management is a fast growing serviced accommodation company based in Manchester, operating under the Key Let Stays brand. We’re looking for an experienced, lead level virtual assistant, based in South Africa, to take ownership of the day to day running of our short term rental portfolio and help us build out the systems that keep everything running smoothly.
This isn’t an entry level task runner role. We need someone who has genuinely managed short term rental operations before, ideally leading other VAs, and who’s comfortable working across tools like Uplisting, PriceLabs, SuiteOp, Zapier, Slack, and Notion.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing guest communications across booking platforms and making sure response times and guest satisfaction stay high
Coordinating cleaning and maintenance schedules across the portfolio
Managing bookings and channel manager updates to keep listings accurate and in sync
Building and refining standard operating procedures as we identify gaps
Leading and training junior VAs as the team grows
Acting as the first point of contact for operational issues before they need to reach me directly
Skills required:
Property or channel management software (Uplisting or similar)
Dynamic pricing tools (PriceLabs or similar)
Zapier for workflow automation
Slack for team communication
Notion for documentation and process management
Strong written English and guest facing communication
Team leadership or VA training experience
What we’re looking for:
Based in South Africa, with strong working hour overlap with the UK
At least two years experience managing short term or serviced accommodation properties, ideally in a lead or supervisory capacity
Someone who takes initiative and can build a process rather than just waiting to be told what to do

Rate: $4 to $8 USD per hour, depending on experience.

Key Let Management is a serviced accommodation company based in Manchester, UK, operating under the guest facing brand Key Let Stays. We manage short term rental properties on behalf of landlords and property owners, handling everything from guest communications and bookings to cleaning coordination, dynamic pricing, and property upkeep. We currently manage 10 properties, 8 of which are live and generating bookings, with a further 2 currently onboarding. We're a fast growing company with ambitious plans to scale our portfolio further, and we're building out the systems and team needed to support that growth. We're looking for driven, experienced people who want to be part of that growth, not just fill a task list.
