Account Manager — FireTeam
FireTeam is a creative production and paid social agency. We build the ads, we brief the work, and we sit in the account with our clients while it runs. Our clients are DTC brands spending real money on Meta every month, and they expect us to have an opinion about what’s working.

We’re hiring an Account Manager to own a book of those relationships end to end: the calls, the calendars, the briefs, the feedback loops, and the monthly conversation about where the account goes next.

Does this sound like you?
You are so buttoned up that you’ve actually kept all those spare buttons that shirts come with, because you never know. You know how to project strength and leadership in a client meeting, or at least how to fake it convincingly until the meeting is over. You can push back on an unreasonable client ask and somehow still end the call with the relationship stronger than it started, with everyone feeling warm and fuzzy inside. You can take a mess of information from five different directions, work out what each person actually needs to know, and route it so nobody is guessing about their next move, and everybody still feels warm and fuzzy inside. Unnecessary repetition gets under your skin.

You’re comfortable saying “I don’t know, let me find out” out loud, and then actually finding out. You’d rather flag a slipping deadline three weeks early than explain it after the fact. And sometimes you’d just prefer a list of responsibilities so the job description is clear.

What you’ll own
The client relationship

Running client calls: the agenda, the room, the follow-up, the loop closed
Being the person the client trusts enough to call before they escalate
Pushing back on scope creep without turning it into a standoff
Reading the account well enough to know when a quiet client is a happy client and when they’re a churn risk
The monthly rhythm

Monthly reporting calls and the prep behind them
Building each client’s monthly marketing calendar
Coming to internal growth planning with a real point of view on account health, expansion opportunities, and the next strategic move
Tracking spend pacing, our share of account spend against target, and scoped vs. delivered
Keeping the work moving

QCing (and sometimes writing) briefs that a designer or writer can actually build from
Working across strategy, copy, design, and production so milestones hold and deliverables ship on time
Getting deliverables in front of clients, collecting feedback, translating it into something usable, and routing it to the right person
Managing production capacity honestly: when something has to get bumped, you know it first and you have the trade-off ready
Running kickoff sequences for new clients and keeping internal and external calendars straight
Growth

Writing scopes of work alongside leadership
Spotting the adjacent work we’re not scoped for yet and building the case for it
What we’re looking for
experience in account management, client services, or project management, ideally at an agency
You’ve owned client relationships directly, not just supported someone who did
Paid social literacy: you don’t need to be a buyer, but you should be able to understand high level creative performance metrics, and talk about ROAS, CPA, and testing without a translator
Writing that’s clear. A lot of this job is written.
An interest in growing tools. We run on Fibery, Slack, Motion, Google Workspace, and a growing pile of AI tooling, and we expect you to make it work harder for you rather than around you.
Nice to have: experience with subscription or ecommerce brands, creative production workflows, or performance creative testing.

Logistics
Remote
Full-time (40 hs per week)
Salary based upon location and experience
Benefits include: flexible schedule, half day fridays, quarterly profit sharing bonuses, soft close around the holidays
Start date: ASAP
To apply
Email [email protected] with your resume and a short cover letter. Tell us about a client relationship you turned around, or one you lost and what you learned. Either is a good answer.
