Campaign Manager
Reports To: Campaign Director

About the Role
The Campaign Manager is responsible for managing influencer marketing campaigns from initial client engagement through to successful completion. Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, they take ownership of campaign strategy, creator sourcing, commercial negotiations, campaign delivery and account growth.

This is a commercially focused role responsible for building long-term client relationships, maximising campaign profitability and identifying opportunities for recurring revenue. Campaign Managers lead Campaign Executives and work closely with the Influencer Coordinator team to deliver exceptional campaigns whilst contributing to the agency’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
Act as the primary contact for assigned clients throughout each campaign.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships by delivering an exceptional client experience.
Understand client objectives, budgets, timelines and marketing goals.
Lead client meetings, campaign planning and ongoing communications.
Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships, grow accounts and generate repeat business.

Campaign Planning & Delivery
Develop influencer marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
Source and recommend commercially viable creators across all major social media platforms.
Build high-quality creator shortlists using internal databases, creator discovery tools and manual research.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop creative campaign concepts and influencer strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with creators and talent managers.
Oversee campaign delivery from planning through to completion.
Coordinate creator onboarding, content approvals, live dates and campaign milestones.
Monitor campaign progress, budgets and profitability, proactively resolving issues before they impact delivery.
Prepare campaign reports, performance insights and post-campaign reviews to improve future performance.

Commercial Management
Negotiate creator rates, campaign budgets and commercial terms.
Maximise agency margins whilst maintaining strong creator relationships.
Prepare and review creator agreements, ensuring deliverables, usage rights and payment terms are accurately reflected.
Ensure all contractual documentation is completed before campaigns commence.
Protect agency profitability whilst maintaining excellent relationships with both clients and creators.

Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor and support Campaign Executives throughout campaign delivery.
Delegate work effectively whilst maintaining overall ownership of campaigns.
Review work, provide coaching and conduct regular one-to-one meetings.
Support the recruitment, onboarding and development of Campaign team members.
Work closely with the Influencer Coordinator team to ensure creator sourcing and campaign support are delivered efficiently.

Operational Management
Maintain accurate CRM records, campaign documentation and reporting.
Ensure internal processes and SOPs are consistently followed.
Continuously improve workflows, systems and operational efficiency.
Forecast campaign workload and identify resource or delivery risks.

Business Development Support
Campaign Managers play an active role in supporting agency growth by contributing strategic and commercial expertise throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities include:

Develop strategic creator recommendations for prospective clients.
Build high-quality single-influencer pitches designed to demonstrate campaign potential and convert prospective brands into long-term clients.
Support the preparation of campaign proposals, creator packages and pitch presentations.
Provide campaign strategy and commercial insight during new business opportunities.
Ensure proposed campaigns are commercially viable, operationally achievable and aligned with agency capabilities.
Work closely with the Business Development team to convert one-off opportunities into recurring partnerships.

Revenue Growth & Account Development
Convert one-off campaigns into long-term partnerships.
Identify upsell opportunities across creators, platforms and content formats.
Build multi-month creator programmes and long-term commercial agreements.
Maximise Client Lifetime Value (LTV), recurring revenue and account profitability.
Position the agency as a long-term strategic marketing partner.

A successful Campaign Manager will:

Skills & Experience
Essential
Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing influencer marketing campaigns within an agency environment.
Proven experience delivering influencer marketing campaigns across major social media platforms.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Strong project management and strategic planning ability.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience presenting campaign strategies and recommendations to clients.
Experience mentoring, managing or supporting junior team members.
High level of ownership, accountability and commercial judgement.
Desirable
Experience working with technology, AI, SaaS or B2B brands.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and creator ecosystems.
Experience using CRMs, Google Workspace, Google Sheets and creator discovery platforms such as Modash.
Experience contributing to business development, campaign pitches or account growth.

Campaign Managers will be measured against:

Our Expectations
Campaign Managers are expected to take full ownership of every campaign under their management. They should think strategically, demonstrate strong commercial awareness and proactively identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, grow client accounts and strengthen internal processes.

They are expected to lead by example, develop their team, support new business opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Campaigns department.

Success in this role is measured not only by delivering exceptional campaigns, but by building long-term client relationships, increasing account value, developing high-performing team members and contributing to the long-term growth and success of the agency.
