POSITION: Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Remote (CST or EST)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (CST/EST)
Compensation: 1600 – 2200 USD/month
Note: Independent contractor position
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
* Process and submit insurance claims accurately and on time.
* Follow up on open claims, research denials, and resubmit as needed.
* Manage self-pay billing and patient balances.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation in the EHR and billing system.
* Identify denial trends; escalate issues to RCM leadership.
* Process write-offs and adjustments for uncollectible accounts.
* Collaborate with Billing Customer Service and clinical teams for account inquiries.
* Meet defined productivity and accuracy standards.
