SEO Expert (Freelancer)
Job description Summary:
A startup is looking for a skilled SEO Expert, to conduct an audit of their current status and provide a plan to improve their online visibility and ranking. The SEO Expert will analyze the startup’s website, keywords, content, competitors, and target audience, and provide a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations. The SEO Expert will also advise on the best practices and strategies for SEO optimization, including technical, on-page, and off-page factors.
Role Deliverables:
Perform a thorough SEO audit of the startup’s website and identify areas for improvement. Provide a detailed report with the audit findings and recommendations, including metrics, benchmarks, and goals. Suggest relevant keywords and topics for content creation and optimization. Analyze the startup’s competitors and target audience and provide insights on how to gain a competitive edge. Provide guidance on how to implement the SEO plan and monitor the results.
Primary Responsibilities:
Use various tools and methods to conduct an SEO audit of the website. Create a comprehensive report with the audit results and suggestions for improvement. Research and recommend keywords and topics that match the startup’s niche and goals. Conduct a competitive analysis and a target audience analysis to identify opportunities and challenges. Advise on the best practices and techniques for SEO optimization, including technical, on-page, and off-page factors. Deliver the SEO audit report and the SEO plan via email or Google Drive.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in SEO auditing and optimization for startups or similar businesses. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc. Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, including technical, on-page, and off-page factors. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. A portfolio showcasing previous work in SEO auditing or similar projects.
