Summary:

A growing company is seeking a freelance Help Desk Support Specialist to provide expert assistance to clients and users in need of technical support. In this role, you will play a crucial part in addressing technical inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Role Deliverables:

Provide timely and effective technical support to clients and end-users.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnosing and resolving problems.
Assist users with system configurations and software installations.
Document support interactions, including issue identification and resolution.
Collaborate with the technical support team to improve processes and knowledge.

Project Details:

Duration: Ongoing freelance position with flexible hours.
Reporting: Regular reporting on help desk support activities and outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to technical inquiries and support requests.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site if necessary.
Guide users through troubleshooting procedures.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
Continuously update technical skills and stay informed about new technologies.

Qualifications

At least 1-2 years of experience in a technical support customer service role.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills with a natural ability to connect with customers.
Experience with a help desk ticketing system.
Experience or familiarity with telephony, computer networking, and screen sharing software such as Zoom, Slack, and Skype.
A strong background in Microsoft Operating Systems- Windows 7 and higher, Active Directory, PowerShell, and network troubleshooting.
An outstanding technical skillset in Mac OS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android OS.
A strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities with a goal-oriented mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote, and dynamic environment.
An eagerness to learn, and the passion to pursue a career in Technical Support.
