Collaborates With: Music Director, Admin Team, Instructors, Executive VA, Content Lead
Role Overview
Loudlands is a fast-growing, community-driven music studio helping people reclaim their creative lives through private lessons, group classes, and real bands.
The Growth & Lifecycle Manager is a full-time, high-leverage role combining sales execution, internal marketing coordination, and customer lifecycle support.
You’ll take ownership of our student acquisition funnels, from consult outreach and enrollment follow-up to CRM tracking and reporting. All while supporting internal marketing campaigns, event promotions, and long-term retention efforts.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role with real impact across the student journey. You’ll collaborate directly with the founder and be part of a mission-driven team working to make creative growth more accessible for students (primarily adults).
What You’ll Do
Sales & Enrollment
Follow up with inbound leads (form submissions, referrals, consult no-shows)
Conduct phone consultations for our band program (Heavy Chemistry) and group classes like Drummer’s Roadmap
Own the full enrollment funnel: lead → consult → trial or assessment → membership conversion
Log all follow-up activity and outcomes in ActiveCampaign
Qualify students for band readiness and collaborate with the Loudlands team on placement and band construction
Collaborate with the Executive Director on pipeline refinements
Help analyze bottlenecks, trends, and CRM data
Continue refining consult scripts, nurture flows, and automation triggers
Propose improvements to conversion workflows.
Internal Marketing & PromotionsCollaborate with team on strategic storytelling to increase community engagement
Upload and schedule email campaigns in ActiveCampaign
Create and manage the Loudlands monthly community newsletter
Collaborate on event promotions: emails, automations, RSVPs, reminders, and post-event follow-ups
Support campaign coordination across all programs (Private Lessons, Heavy Chemistry, Drummer’s Roadmap, etc.)
Assist with content creation and internal social media coordination (event flyers, announcements, community stories, etc.)
Retention & Lifecycle SupportCollaborate with Executive Director on planning and coordination of customer success and retention strategy + initiatives
Monitor churn risks and identify re-engagement opportunities for students (lesson cancellations, excessive lesson credit accumulation, membership hold requests, etc.)
Send targeted recapture outreach (text, email, or phone) for inactive or paused students
Help prepare performance recap emails, student progress and community engagement communications
CRM & Funnel OversightMaintain accurate pipeline tracking in ActiveCampaign
Tag, sort, and update all deal progressions
Ensure all leads are contacted within 24 hours (within 60 minutes preferred for high-priority form leads)
Assist with light automation updates and system improvements (training provided)
What We’re Looking ForStrong verbal communicator — confident, clear, and supportive on the phone
Proven experience in service-based sales or enrollment (education, fitness, coaching, etc.)
Highly organized and reliable — systems-focused with strong task follow-through
Comfortable using CRMs, email platforms, and project management tools
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset — excited to grow with a mission-driven creative business
Bonus: familiarity with music, the arts, or adult education
Success Metrics
50%+ trial-to-member conversion rate (Private Lessons)
40%+ consult-to-band conversion rate (Heavy Chemistry)
5+ band-ready students placed per month
100% lead response within 24 hours
Clean, current ActiveCampaign pipeline with complete tagging and updates
Compensation & Logistics
Base Pay: $1,500–$1,700 USD/month (based on experience and skill fit)
Commission Bonuses:
$25 per student enrolled in the Rehearsal Band Package
$40 per student enrolled in the Premium Band Package
$15 per Private Lesson student when at least 2 manual follow-up actions directly contributed to conversion

Location: Remote
Hours: 9am–6pm US Eastern Time (Partially flexible with expected overlap with peak sales hours)
