Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Business Systems Specialist to analyze existing business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and build scalable operational solutions through systems, automation, and AI tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how businesses operate, simplifying complex workflows, and implementing practical improvements that increase efficiency. You’ll build initial solutions, optimize processes, and transition mature systems to the appropriate teams while continuously identifying new opportunities for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Interview stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and business requirements.
Design and implement scalable business systems and operational processes.
Build and optimize automations using no-code and low-code platforms where appropriate.
Evaluate and integrate AI tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Create dashboards, documentation, and reporting systems to support business operations.
Develop initial process solutions and transition mature workflows to internal teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve systems across multiple business functions.
Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate operations.

Qualifications:

2–3 years of experience in business operations, business systems, process improvement, operations consulting, business analysis, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience improving or implementing business processes and operational systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a builder mindset.
Experience working with automation or workflow tools such as Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
Comfortable learning and experimenting with AI tools to improve business operations.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to gather requirements, document workflows, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong ownership and follow-through.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with SQL, APIs, or business intelligence tools.
Familiarity with CRM, ERP, accounting, or project management systems.
Exposure to process mapping methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Experience building dashboards and operational reporting.
Previous experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses or high-growth companies.
Experience using AI-powered workflow or productivity tools.
