Company: SunVault Energy — a fast-growing solar and battery retailer based in Sydney, Australia. We install residential solar, batteries and EV chargers across NSW. Our leads come from digital marketing — no cold prospecting, you work warm, qualified leads.
The Role
You’ll be the voice of SunVault for Australian homeowners considering solar:
- Call and follow up warm leads promptly (phone / WhatsApp / SMS)
- Qualify homeowners: roof, energy usage, motivation, budget
- Present quotes and system recommendations prepared with our technical team
- Handle objections, follow up persistently, and close deals
- Keep our CRM (Odoo) updated — every call, every note, every stage
- Hit weekly KPIs: contact rate, quotes issued, deals closed
Working Hours (please read carefully)
- You MUST be available during Australian business hours: 9:00am–6:00pm Sydney time
- That is approximately 1:00am–10:00am South Africa time — early risers only. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to this schedule long-term.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of phone-based sales experience (solar, energy, insurance, telco or similar high-ticket B2C preferred)
- Excellent spoken English — clear, confident and warm on the phone
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets (be ready to show numbers)
- Self-managed and disciplined — remote work with daily check-ins
- Reliable fibre internet, quality headset, quiet home office
- CRM experience; solar industry knowledge is a strong plus
Compensation — Uncapped Earning Potential
- Independent contractor agreement, paid monthly via Deel/Payoneer
- Base retainer: R8,000 – R15,000 / month (based on experience)
- Commission: A$200 – A$400 per installed deal (≈ R2,300 – R4,600 per deal), uncapped
- Our current sales team closes at least 10 deals per month, top performers up to 30 deals
- That means realistic earnings of R30,000 – R50,000+ / month once you’re up to speed — top performers can earn well beyond that
- Full training provided: Australian solar market, products, pricing, sales scripts and CRM — you don’t need solar experience to start, you need sales talent
