Account Manager Role Overview
Our client is hiring for a Account Manager that owns the day-to-day client relationship and coordinates pod execution to ensure fast onboarding, smooth delivery, and clear communication. This is a client ownership and coordination role, not a specialist execution role. AMs are coordinators with domain literacy. They understand enough across each discipline to orchestrate delivery effectively but are not expected to execute specialist work themselves. The core behavioral shift at this level is to understand and escalate.

About the role
Domain Literacy Expectations: You do not run each discipline, but you must understand each one well enough to coordinate effectively and identify risks.
Commercial Literacy: Understand pod revenue and service tiers, recognize how delays and scope creep affect margin, and flag commercial risks early. In practice, this means noticing when a client’s scope is expanding beyond what was sold, raising concerns when delivery costs appear high relative to contract value, and bringing margin-related concerns into pod reviews.
Shop Operations (TikTok Shop): Understand the shop onboarding process and common blockers, identify when shop operations are slowing performance, and coordinate resolution with the shop operator by involving them proactively.
Creator, Affiliate, and Influencer Programs: Understand creator sourcing strategy and expected output, recognize what strong creator content looks like, and surface creator pipeline issues before they affect results.
Paid Media: Understand campaign objectives, whether focused on efficiency (ROAS) or scale, recognize creative fatigue and pacing issues, and contribute meaningfully to weekly performance reviews by asking the right questions.
Client and Pod Operations: Own onboarding timelines, maintain clear and documented scope, keep specialists aligned without requiring follow-up from them, and ensure clients remain informed and confident.
Output and Hygiene Standards: You are expected to send weekly client updates on time, including status, wins, risks, and next steps. You should keep client data, deliverables, and tracking systems fully up to date and ensure there are no missing assets, broken links, or unclear ownership.
