The Role
This is a people management role first. You’ll lead a team of creatives, media buyers, SEO specialists, and copywriters — setting the standard, holding the bar, and driving results through the people you manage.
But this isn’t a role for someone who’s never been in the trenches. We run a performance-heavy marketing operation, and paid media is at the center of it. You need to understand how campaigns are built, how budgets are allocated, how funnels convert, and why things break — because your team will look to you to make the right calls.
You won’t be running ads every day. But you’ll know exactly what good looks like.

What You’ll Do
Lead and manage a team of media buyers, creatives, SEO specialists, copywriters, and more
Set performance standards and hold your team accountable to them
Own campaign results across paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) — through your team
Manage marketing budgets and ensure resources are allocated effectively
Review and approve creative, copy, and campaign strategies before they go live
Track, analyze, and report on KPIs — full ownership of marketing performance
Build systems and processes that make the team faster and sharper over time
Align closely with leadership and sales to make sure marketing is driving real pipeline
You’ll Be a Perfect Fit If You…
Have 3+ years managing marketing professionals (media buyers, creatives, SEO — not just freelancers)
Have a strong background in paid media and understand performance marketing deeply
Know how to read campaign data, spot problems, and coach your team to fix them
Think in pipeline, CAC, conversion rates, and revenue impact — not vanity metrics
Can manage multiple channels, projects, and people without losing clarity
Thrive in a remote, high-performance environment where accountability is the norm
Lead with directness — you give clear feedback and expect results
This Role Isn’t for You If…
You’ve only ever managed freelancers or agencies, not full-time marketers
You don’t have a working knowledge of paid media and performance funnels
You avoid hard conversations with underperforming team members
You prefer a slow, corporate pace with low urgency
Requirements
Fluent English — strong written and verbal communication
3+ years managing a marketing team (media buyers, creatives, SEO, or similar)
Solid understanding of paid digital marketing — Google, Meta, LinkedIn
Strong analytical ability and comfort with performance reporting
Experience with CRMs, dashboards, and funnel metrics
