Our client is a high-growth, US-based SaaS company backed by leading investors, having raised tens of millions of dollars. The business works with mid-market and enterprise customers globally and is building a strong commercial presence in South Africa.

The role offers hands-on coaching from a senior sales leader with deep experience in enterprise SaaS sales at some of the fastest-growing technology companies globally. There is a clearly defined pathway into a closing role (Account Executive) for strong performers.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support pipeline generation and outbound sales efforts for a rapidly scaling SaaS business.

This role is well suited to someone early in their sales career who is ambitious, coachable, and comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers. You will work closely with senior leadership, receive structured coaching, and gain exposure to high-level enterprise sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound prospecting via:
Cold calling
Email outreach
LinkedIn and social selling
Research and identify target accounts and key stakeholders
Engage senior and executive-level prospects in a professional and confident manner
Qualify leads and book meetings for senior sales leadership
Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline updates in the CRM
Continuously improve messaging and outreach strategies based on feedback and results
Work from the Cape Town office at least three days per week for coaching, collaboration, and skill development

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of professional experience (post-university)
Exposure to sales, business development, consulting, finance, or other client-facing roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional presence and confidence when engaging with senior stakeholders
High level of motivation, resilience, and willingness to learn
Comfortable with outbound outreach and performance-based targets
Based in Cape Town or able to commute regularly to the CBD
Nice to Have

SaaS or technology industry exposure
Experience selling to international or US-based clients
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
Prior SDR or outbound sales experience
