Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and highly organized Social Media Manager & Podcast Producer to take full ownership of our client’s content strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can develop a comprehensive social media calendar, produce a high-quality podcast from start to finish, and consistently bring new ideas to the table.
You will be responsible for capturing the founder’s unique voice, managing a consistent content schedule, and finding innovative ways to promote the brand and grow its audience.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content Management
Develop and manage a comprehensive social media calendar, creating a diverse mix of video, graphics, pictures, and text-based content.
Create and schedule all social media posts in advance, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
Edit and post timely, ad-hoc videos as provided by the founder.
Continuously learn and adapt to the founder’s voice and style to ensure all content is authentic.
Podcast Production
Manage the end-to-end podcast production process.
Download and edit raw audio recordings, adding intros and other necessary elements.
Create compelling graphics, show notes, and titles for each episode.
Produce short video clips from the podcast for social media promotion.
Upload final episodes to podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Buzzsprout) and YouTube.
Coordinate with guests and internal team members to approve and distribute final content.
Liaise with the web team to ensure each episode is posted on the company website.
