RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rollout of New Retail Concept (NRC) throughout the Toyota Dealership Network
Compilation and ongoing updating of Toyota Generic Dealer Building Facility Specifications and Corporate Identity Standards.
Project Management of the NRC rollout throughout the Toyota Dealer Network in Southern Africa.
Initiation of each Dealer into the NRC process.
Providing Dealers, Architects and Suppliers with Toyota Generic Specifications, Corporate Identity Standards and all NRC related information and addressing all queries as and when they arise.
Inspection and approval of Plans, Elevations, Finishes Schedules, Furnishings, Corporate Identity (Signage and Branding) and Point of Sale Product stands for NRC compliance.
Assist Architects, Dealers and Suppliers with project specific problems/challenges within NRC guidelines.
Ensure that projects meet all Environment and Safety related standards by involving our Environment and Workplace Safety Specialists for relevant regulations and specifications.
Regular site visits and attendance of site meetings to ensure compliance.
Final project inspection and signing-off of projects on completion.
Maintain Dealer Relations
Constantly engage and update Dealers on all NRC project and Corporate Identity related matters.
Maintain Supplier Relations
Approval of suppliers for inclusion on Toyota’s Preferred Supplier List.
Ensure that products supplied comply with NRC specifications and that installation workmanship is of acceptable standard.
Address non-compliance with abovementioned criteria and ensure that, where necessary, remedial action is taken by supplier.
Ensure that suppliers constantly update their products to be in line with the latest technological advancements and environmental standards (eg latest improvements in energy efficient light fittings and signage illumination).
Ongoing Dealer Facility Auditing for Compliance with Dealer Standards and Corporate Identity
Appointment of an external auditing firm to conduct bi-annual dealer facility audits.
Compiling of Audit questionnaire for use by external auditing firm.
Provision of on-site training for Auditing firm’s staff.
Handling and resolving of all Dealer appeals arising from audit scores awarded.
Following up with Dealers to improve compliance levels.

Ensure all Designs and Space Planning comply with the Franchise Standards and models.
