We’re a fast-growing solar and battery storage installation company based in the North West of England. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Finance & Bookkeeping VA to take ownership of our day-to-day financial admin so our MD can focus on growing the business.
This is a long-term full-time role with a stable, growing company. You’ll be working UK business hours and will be a key part of our small management team.
What you’ll be doing every day:
Raising and issuing sales invoices to customers via Open Solar
Chasing outstanding payments and keeping debtors up to date
Processing supplier invoices and bills in Xero
Maintaining and updating a daily cash flow forecast
Processing approved bank transfers (payments pre-approved by MD)
Reconciling bank transactions in Xero
Producing a weekly cash flow and revenue summary report for the MD
What we need from you:
Proven experience with Xero — this is essential, not optional
Bookkeeping qualification or strong equivalent experience
Excellent written and spoken English
Highly organised and able to work independently
Experience working with a UK-based business preferred
Available to work UK business hours (8am–5pm GMT)
