Position Overview:
We are seeking an autonomous, highly precise Luxury Pool & Outdoor Living Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed custom pool and outdoor living layouts, transitioning concepts smoothly into Structure Studios (Vip3D) for final modeling and rendering.
Rather than just generating superficial visual mockups, you will focus heavily on real-world site constraints, project dimensions, and exact structural details. This role requires high energy, complete professional transparency, and a strong technical drafting background. To facilitate instant collaboration with our onshore construction and sales teams, this role requires working strict US Eastern Time hours (08:30 AM – 04:30 PM) while remaining connected to an active Microsoft Teams channel throughout the day with your camera off for rapid voice and message check-ins.
Key Responsibilities:
Precision Modeling & Design: Create exceptional, structurally sound custom pool and landscape environments that seamlessly align with client specs and property boundaries.
Real-Time Team Integration: Fully participate in our synchronous remote workspace, working strict hours from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM EST. Maintain active, all-day connection in an open Microsoft Teams collaboration channel (with camera off) to receive real-time questions and voice check-ins from the onshore team.
Rapid-Response Collaboration: Partner closely with the onshore team, maintaining a highly responsive workflow to execute design revisions and internal communication within 1 business hour.
Site & Constraint Analysis: Carefully evaluate architectural site constraints and property layouts to minimize avoidable errors or downstream redesigns.
Meticulous File Management: Keep project directories, asset models, and revision tracking files perfectly organized with near-zero missing information.
Qualifications:
Strong Foundational Drafting (AutoCAD/SketchUp): Exceptional, hands-on experience in technical architectural drafting, construction layouts, and geometric precision.
Structure Studios Exposure: Advanced proficiency in Structure Studios (Pool Studio/Vip3D) is highly preferred. However, master-level structural drafters (AutoCAD/SketchUp/Lumion experts) who possess the raw talent to cross-train into Vip3D within two weeks are strongly encouraged to apply.
High Accountability Work Style: Full comfort and ability to thrive in a highly visible, open-channel collaborative workspace with a strict 1-hour response target.
Flawless English Fluency: Clear, direct, and high-energy verbal and written English communication skills.
Professional Reliability: A proven background of long-term workplace stability, absolute honesty regarding other professional commitments, and complete dedication to a single full-time role.
Nice-to-Haves:
Past experience working directly with US-based residential pool builders, civil engineering, or landscape architecture firms.
Foundational knowledge of residential landscape drainage, setback lines, and grading plans.
