Location: Remote
- Salary Range: 6000 – 8000 USD/month
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Data Science & AI to build and lead the internal data function. This role will be responsible for architecting our data infrastructure, managing reporting and analytics, driving forecasting and optimization models, and exploring AI/ML initiatives to support clinical and operational efficiency. You will report directly to executive leadership and play a strategic role in shaping data maturity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the company’s data strategy, roadmap, and infrastructure.
Own data governance, ETL pipelines, and analytics frameworks.
Deliver executive-level dashboards, forecasting models, and KPI reporting.
Build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models to support automation and decision-making.
Partner with stakeholders (CEO, CFO, COO) to translate business goals into data insights.
Mentor and develop junior analysts and engineers as the team scales.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal data and AI initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering roles.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering); Master’s or PhD preferred
Strong background in statistics, data modeling, and algorithm development.
Proficiency with SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executive teams.
Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor and guide teams.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or clinical data environments.
Familiarity with AI applications in operations or customer engagement.
Previous experience scaling a data function in a startup or high-growth company.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
