Location: Remote (Central/South America, Philippines, South Africa)

Salary Range: 2000 – 2200 USD/month

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 08:00am – 05:00pm (EST)

Position Overview:

The Construction Estimator will play a critical role in the preconstruction process by preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project documentation, coordinating subcontractor pricing, and identifying project risks and opportunities. This individual will support profitable project execution by delivering accurate, competitive, and well-documented estimates while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and complete project estimates, budgets, proposals, and bid packages.
Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analyses from architectural, structural, MEP, and finish drawings.
Review project documents to identify scope gaps, exclusions, constructability concerns, risks, and value engineering opportunities.
Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers across multiple trades.
Conduct subcontractor scope reviews, bid leveling, and pricing analysis.
Build and maintain internal estimating spreadsheets and client-facing pricing documents.
Collaborate with operations teams, architects, consultants, and clients throughout the preconstruction process.
Present and defend estimates, assumptions, and bid packages during internal and client meetings.
Support project turnover activities following successful bid awards.
Meet established bid deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.

Qualifications:

3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
Demonstrated experience preparing estimates for commercial construction projects.
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and finish drawings.
Proven experience performing quantity takeoffs and cost estimating.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience with Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and plan review or similar tools.
Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience communicating directly with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while following established processes and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail, organization, accountability, and follow-through.
Experience supporting US-based construction projects.

Experience working for a US-based General Contractor.
Luxury retail construction or Hospitality construction experience.
Commercial interior fit-out experience.
Exposure to Procore or similar construction management platforms.
Experience supporting high-profile client-facing projects.
