Job Title: Business Automation & Systems Specialist (Operations Modernization)
Location: Remote (U.S. business hours overlap preferred)
Type: Full-time / Long-term Contract

Role Overview
We are looking for a high-level Automation Specialist who can transform how companies operate by replacing manual workflows with streamlined, connected systems. This role is not just about building automations — it’s about understanding how a business actually runs and redesigning it so information flows automatically between departments.
You will analyze operations end-to-end (sales, admin, customer service, finance, communication, and reporting) and implement practical solutions that reduce human workload, prevent errors, and increase clarity.
The right person thinks like an operator, not just a technician.
Core Objective
Turn fragmented businesses into structured, automated, low-friction organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Analysis
Map current workflows across departments
Identify bottlenecks, duplicate work, and human dependency points
Design improved operational architecture
Automation & Systems Integration
Build automated workflows between platforms
Connect CRMs, email, telephony, forms, invoicing, and project tools
Create automatic task creation, routing, and follow-ups
Implement notification and escalation logic
Communication Automation
Automate inbound inquiries (email, SMS, forms, calls)
Route messages to the right person automatically
Set up client onboarding sequences and reminders
Implement internal alerts and dashboards
Data & Reporting
Centralize data into unified tracking dashboards
Build automated reports for management visibility
Ensure accurate tracking of leads, jobs, revenue, and performance
Implementation & Training
Document processes
Train staff on simplified workflows
Ensure adoption and usability (simplicity matters)

Required Skills
Strong logical and systems thinking ability
Experience designing workflows across departments
Ability to translate real business operations into automation logic
Comfortable troubleshooting broken processes
Excellent written English communication
Able to simplify complexity (critical skill)
Preferred Experience
Operations or process engineering background
Implementing automations in real businesses (not just test projects)
API integration understanding
AI workflow implementation
Experience modernizing non-technical teams
