Roy Bernheim (individual)

LinkedIn Strategist, Copy Editor & Scheduler (part-time, remote)

ABOUT

I’m an entrepreneur and advisor. I co-founded and ran a B2B software company deployed at companies like Mercedes-Benz, Nestlé, Syngenta and Jägermeister, and co-founded a direct-to-consumer brand. I now advise founders and large companies on AI strategy and implementation, and test new AI-led business models.

I publish on LinkedIn for an audience of CEOs, founders and operators. The point is to be useful to them, sharing what I’m learning and building so they take away something they can use. Two things come back from that: inbound enquiries for advisory work and workshops, and signal on what to build next. I build and try a lot of things, and what people push back on or ask about is the best read I get.

A system I’ve built produces the first drafts. Deciding what is worth publishing, what needs reworking, and what should be dropped, and implementing it, is the part I’m hiring for. So is watching what comes back and telling me what you see.

You can see my voice and past posts here: linkedin.com/in/roy-bernheim

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Publish 8 posts per month, two per week, on a fixed calendar
– Edit the drafts to final, written for a senior business reader
– Apply a defined set of editorial rules to every post
– Comment from my account on other people’s posts: a standing list of around 20 accounts in my network and market, substantive comments rather than reactions
– Respond to comments on my own posts within 24 hours (typically 1-5 comments per post)
– Report monthly on what the audience responded to, what enquiries it produced, and what it suggests I should write about next
– Run a weekly 45-minute session with me to collect source material
– Operate the drafting system and flag problems

A TYPICAL WEEK

Two drafts to edit and schedule, one 45-minute call with me, replies on my own posts, and roughly 15 minutes a day commenting on other accounts. Once a month a review and planning meeting. Around six hours per week.

PUBLISHING AUTHORITY

You schedule and publish. I have a 24-hour objection window, and if I do not respond the post goes live. You may withhold a post that fails an editorial rule.

REQUIREMENTS

– Native-level written English, and strong editorial judgment writing for senior business readers
– Accuracy. Everything published carries my name.
– Discretion. You will see client work, notes and call transcripts, and will need to judge what should never appear in a post.
– Commercially minded. You judge a post by whether it would move a buyer rather than by likes.
– Comfortable writing in my voice in public, including in comments on other people’s posts.
– Working experience with Claude, ideally Claude Cowork or Claude Code. Deep technical expertise is not required.
– Self-managing. You work with little supervision, save your questions for the weekly call, and raise problems early.

COMPENSATION AND TERMS

USD 500 per month, fixed, for approximately 25 hours (USD 20 per hour). Can be fixed in ZAR instead, to remove exchange-rate exposure.

Fully remote, flexible hours, any time zone. NDA required, as the role has access to internal working files.

APPLICATION

Send the following in your application. Applications missing any are not read, and won’t get a reply.

1. Start your message with the word PUBLISH.

2. Name which Claude product you have used and one specific thing you used it for. One line is enough.

3. A portfolio: three to five samples of copy you have written or edited. Published LinkedIn posts, newsletters, articles, or client work. Tell me which parts were yours if the piece was collaborative.

4. An answer to this question:

Describe a time you published or sent something on behalf of someone else without their final sign-off. What was it, and what was the outcome?

Process: application, paid test task (USD 30, edit one post), interview.

I am hiring separately for a project-based commercial role running market validation on new products. If both interest you, say so in your application.
