About the job
About Reputation Elevation

We’re a digital marketing agency with a clear specialty: we grow ABA therapy and other local businesses. Founded in 2013, we’ve spent more than a decade working shoulder-to-shoulder with clinic owners and executives across 18 states, and we’ve built marketing systems tailored to the nuances of the ABA industry — from HIPAA-aware content practices to the referral dynamics that actually move billable hours.

Our clients choose us because marketing their business is one thing; elevating to next-level results is another. Many of our contracts come with guaranteed outcomes because we’ve done this long enough to know what works. One recent client grew billable hours 267% in under eight months. That’s the bar.

About the Role

We’re hiring an SEO Operations Manager to take end-to-end ownership of the SEO program across our full client portfolio. You’ll work closely with the founder, Reece Epstein, and use AI extensively for content production, schema generation, on-page work, and research — but you are responsible for the quality, timing, and business outcomes of everything that goes out the door. If you’re looking for a role where you run a real program instead of grinding through a ticket queue, keep reading.

Because we specialize in ABA therapy, you’ll quickly become fluent in how our clients’ businesses actually work: what a BCBA is, why waitlists and referral funnels matter, how regulated their space is, and why getting facts wrong in content is not an option. You don’t need a clinical background — you do need the judgment to be careful with a healthcare-adjacent audience.

Mission & Accountability

While it is important to fulfill all deliverables for each client on time, this is job is about a lot more than completing a checklist. Your job is to produce measurable business outcomes for our clients — growth in organic rankings, qualified traffic, lead volume, and visibility in the new generation of AI-driven search. Every deliverable exists to drive one of those outcomes. If a tactic stops producing results, it’s on you to flag it, research the alternative, and bring a proposal — not a shrug.

You’ll be evaluated on:

• Ranking improvements in Google organic and the local map pack for clients’ target keyword sets.

• Organic traffic growth in Google Search Console and GA4 — with specific attention to traffic that converts.

• Lead generation impact — are clients getting more qualified inquiries, contact form submissions, and calls from SEO channels?

• LLM / AI visibility — are our clients surfaced, cited, and recommended in answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews? This is a strategic priority, not an afterthought.

• Durability — results should compound. We want long-term rankings, not a spike followed by a collapse.

The non-negotiables:

• White-hat only. Everything we do has to be defensible under Google’s guidelines and the kind of work we’d be proud to show a client. No PBNs, no link farms, no content spinning, no deceptive redirects. Supporting links on Web 2.0 platforms are acceptable when done thoughtfully and varied — patterns that look manipulative are not.

• Strategic, not reactive. Every month, for every client, you should be asking: “is what I’m producing actually moving the metrics that matter — and if not, what should change?” Come with proposals, not just status updates.

• Innovative and research-driven. Search is shifting fast, especially on the AI side. Expect to spend time every week reading, testing new approaches on sandbox sites, and bringing validated findings back to our playbook. Stale tactics lose.

• Transparent by default. Clear reporting, honest communication, and no surprises. That’s how we run the agency, and it’s how you’ll be expected to run your program.

• Quarterly business impact reviews. Every 90 days, you walk the founder through what’s working, what’s not, and what changes next — per client and across the portfolio. That’s where you prove you’re running a program, not just running a process.

What You’ll Own

The sections below enumerate the deliverable categories you’re responsible for across the portfolio. Specific quantities and tier-level scoping are documented separately in the client package sheet and handed to you during onboarding — your job here is to own the category.

Research and Project Planning for New Clients

Research and project planning deliverables — keyword research, audits, competitor analysis, content briefs, and the go-forward plan — are completed during the new client’s first month of service, in tandem with that month’s regular deliverables (not as a pre-service onboarding phase). You plan the first month so both streams land in the same cycle, and the go-forward plan crystallizes as the monthly work is in motion. Done right, the client sees momentum from day one.

• Keyword Research

• On-Page Audit

• Technical Audit

• User Experience (UX) Audit

• Competitor Audit

• Backlink Audit

• Content Audit

Content — AI Package Clients (Monthly)

AI package content is purpose-built to perform in both traditional search and LLM-driven surfaces (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).

• Authority & structure assets

• Answer-focused authority content

• Supporting content assets

• FAQ optimization and expansion

• Content refresh

• Video content

• Press and authority content

Content — Classic Package Clients (Monthly)

• Pillar pages

• Static pages — home, services, FAQs, other top-nav pages

• Long-form blog posts

• Short-form blog posts

Content Quality Standards (All Clients)

• Factually accurate — especially critical in the ABA therapy context. No AI hallucinations, no inaccurate clinical claims.

• Structured for both search and LLM citation — clear headings, answer-first paragraphs, defined entities, citable claims

• Brand- and tone-appropriate for each client — not generic AI output

• Correctly targeted to the keyword and intent mapped in the content brief

• Published with correct internal links, schema, optimized images (alt text plus compression), and meta data

Strategy, Reporting & Innovation (Monthly + Quarterly)

• Maintain Semrush projects for all clients — rank tracking, site audits, competitive monitoring

• Produce monthly reports (traffic, rankings, links built, leads where trackable) and field on-demand reporting requests

• Monitor LLM visibility — track when and how our clients appear in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews for target queries; report trends

• Conduct spot checks on content quality, backlink integrity, and on-page implementation

• Research and experimentation — weekly reading, occasional sandbox tests, and proposed playbook updates when tactics shift

• Quarterly business impact review with the founder — per client and portfolio-wide: what’s working, what’s not, what changes for the next 90 days

• Track all deliverables against package obligations in monthly tracking spreadsheets

What You Bring to the Table

Must-Haves

1. 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience spanning content, technical, on-page, off-page, and local — not just one discipline

2. Proven experience managing SEO for multiple clients simultaneously (agency background strongly preferred)

3. Strong working knowledge of WordPress (content publishing, plugin management, basic troubleshooting)

4. Experience with Semrush (or equivalent: Ahrefs, Moz) for rank tracking, site audits, and competitive analysis

5. Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar) for content generation — and the judgment to evaluate AI output critically

6. Experience building Web 2.0 backlink profiles and working understanding of tiered link building strategy

7. Strong written English — able to evaluate content quality, write natural anchor text, and produce professional client-ready reports

8. Highly organized and self-directed — you can run a multi-client workload without daily supervision

9. Careful with healthcare-adjacent content — you understand that facts, tone, and compliance matter more here than in most industries

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with healthcare, behavioral health, or ABA therapy clients

• Comfort with Google Business Profile optimization at scale

• Experience tracking and optimizing for AI / LLM visibility specifically

• Familiarity with HIPAA-aware content and data handling practices
