About the Role

We are a UK-based creative agency looking for an experienced freelance Project Manager to join us on a part-time, remote basis. We are actively and specifically welcoming applications from South Africa – as we know the SA creative industry produces outstanding PM talent.

This role starts at 10 hours per week and will grow to a full time position as we scale. We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable with the evolving nature of a growing agency.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading client onboarding, ensuring every new client relationship starts professionally and smoothly
Managing creative projects end-to-end, from brief through to final delivery, on time and on budget
Financial tracking across all active projects, monitoring spend, flagging variances, reporting to stakeholders
Coordinating internal team scheduling and resource allocation
Acting as the key communication bridge between clients and the internal creative team
Proactively identifying project risks and putting mitigation plans in place
Maintaining accurate project documentation, status updates, and timelines throughout

What We’re Looking For

Essential

Proven experience as a Project Manager within a creative agency – this is a firm requirement, not a preference
Strong understanding of how creative projects are structured, resourced, and delivered
Excellent client-facing communication skills, professional, warm, and clear
Experience managing project budgets and financial tracking
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Genuine availability and flexibility – hours may shift week to week
Reliable internet connection and ability to join video calls during UK business hour
Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Google stack, Teamwork
Experience working remotely with UK or European clients
Background in digital, branding, or marketing agency environments

Why This Role

£18/hour equates to approximately R420/hour at current exchange rates, a strong rate for freelance PM work, paid in GBP.
