Job Overview
An established UK-based recruitment consultancy is seeking a skilled and driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team. With over six years in the industry, the company is now ready to bring on a dynamic professional to take ownership of the business development function. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, building client relationships, and securing new job mandates. If you have a proven track record in financial or banking recruitment BD or consulting sales and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
Utilise LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools for lead generation and pipeline building.
Conduct outreach via cold calling, warm calling, and email campaigns to engage prospective clients.
Set up and lead BD sales meetings to secure job descriptions and partnership agreements.
Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base across international markets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Provide regular updates on pipeline progress and sales activities.
Collaborate closely with the founder to align BD initiatives with overall business goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development within banking or financial recruitment, management consulting, or a related field.
Strong understanding of recruitment sales processes and client acquisition strategies.
Experience in finance or professional services sectors is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results without micromanagement.
International BD experience highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a down-to-earth, professional approach.
Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable laptop for remote work.
