This is a remote position.
This great opportunity requires someone solid and serious about their next step career move. Your proven track record of over 5 years as a Full-Stack Website Developer with expertise in front-end development with back-end knowledge, ensuring an optimal user experience while maintaining functionality and performance. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
To join the team and help design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites. Key Responsibilities:
● Develop, test, debug and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites.
● Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.
● Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code using best practices.
● Optimise website performance, speed, and scalability.
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web applications.
● Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
● Implement SEO best practices for improved search engine rankings.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
● Maintain website security by implementing necessary measures and updates.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Strong understanding of back-end development (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails).
● Experience with the Python Plotly package is a plus.
● Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Joomla).
● Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
● Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
● Understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
● Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
● Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
● Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in eCommerce website development (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify).
● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
● Understanding of UI/UX principles and design trends.
● Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Please note in this fully remote role you are expected to have the following setup:

Reliable Internet & Power Backup:
High-Speed Internet: Minimum 50-100 Mbps fiber for smooth deployments, video calls, and remote access
UPS or Inverter: To keep your setup running during load shedding (look at EcoFlow, Mecer, or Bluetti power stations)
LTE/5G Router Backup: MTN/Vodacom 5G or Rain LTE as a secondary option in case of downtime
