Hello, my name is Luis Mata, CTO of Metabolic, and I need your help. As a technologist with a long career of leading tech teams, I joined Metabolic 3 years ago to spearhead the digital transformation of our business operations. I’m now seeking a Salesforce Engineer to help us further streamline our CRM and manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in the Salesforce Sales Cloud application.

What’s the Ideal Candidate’s Background?

You’re a seasoned Salesforce Engineer with at least 5 years of comprehensive experience, boasting extensive technical knowledge in the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly Salesforce Sales Cloud. You’re adept in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL, as well as managing and implementing integrations via SOAP and REST APIs. Your proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud extends to its configuration, customization, and utilization, developing solutions that optimize business processes, enhance customer relationships, and increase sales productivity. You’re Salesforce certified (Platform Developer I, II or equivalent), with advanced certifications indicating your commitment to continuous learning.

You’ve honed exceptional collaborative skills, demonstrated in your successful work with diverse teams including business analysts, solution architects, and other developers, to design, test, and deploy high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. Your expertise includes the implementation of Agile methodologies in the development cycle. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to translate technical requirements into well-structured code are key assets. Combining all these skills, you’re the ideal fit for this role.

What Will You Be Working On?

• Salesforce Sales Cloud Customizations – You’ll be architecting, designing, and developing custom solutions within the Salesforce Sales Cloud. This includes creating unique sales processes, automating tasks with Workflow Rules and Process Builder, and developing lightning components to enhance user experience and efficiency
• Robust Integrations – You will be tasked with the integration of Salesforce with various other systems and data sources, providing seamless data flow and interoperability. This includes working with APIs, managing complex data migrations, and ensuring data integrity
• Advanced Features & Analytics – You’ll leverage Salesforce’s advanced features, including Einstein Analytics and AI-powered insights. This includes creating predictive models, custom reports, and dashboards, ensuring that data-driven decisions can be made effectively
• Security and Performance – You’ll ensure the Salesforce instance maintains top-tier security, meeting industry standards and protecting sensitive data. Additionally, you will fine-tune the performance of the Salesforce Sales Cloud, optimizing load times and response times, delivering a smooth user experience.

What You Need To Succeed

• 5+ Years’ Experience – Proven experience with Salesforce development, specifically with Salesforce Sales Cloud, including designing custom solutions, automating tasks, and enhancing user experience
• Comprehensive Salesforce Certification – Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I, II, or equivalent work experience. Additional advanced certifications such as Sales Cloud
• Consultant or Architect credentials are a plus, but not required.
  Mastery of Salesforce Integrations – Adept in managing and implementing integrations via SOAP and REST APIs, handling complex data migrations, and maintaining data integrity across systems
• Knowledge of Best Practices – Familiar with the best practices in Salesforce coding, testing, security, and performance optimization
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills – Demonstrated ability to understand complex business needs and design innovative, efficient solutions within Salesforce Sales Cloud
• Reliable Tools – A fast laptop and stable internet connection that can handle Salesforce and other tools, with full productivity during load shedding
• Exceptional English & Communication Skills – Ability to articulate technical solutions in a clear, concise manner to a diverse range of stakeholders
