Most sales jobs give you a list of strangers and a phone. This one doesn’t.
We’re Media Removal. We get damaging content taken off the internet. Negative reviews, defamatory articles, Reddit threads, leaked posts. Our clients are business owners and executives who have found something online about them and can’t get rid of it on their own.
We started in February 2024. Since then we’ve worked with over 350 clients across Europe, the US, Canada and South America, and removed more than 1,000 pieces of harmful content. We’re a small firm, based in Andorra with an office in New York.
The people who contact us are usually stressed, often embarrassed, and always in a hurry. Your job is to pick that up, handle it well, and turn it into a client.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Nearly all of your work is with people who have already contacted us. Enquiries come in by WhatsApp, email and our website. Whether they become clients comes down to how fast and how well they get followed up. That’s your job.
Reply to new enquiries quickly, by WhatsApp, email and web form
Keep working every open conversation until it closes or truly goes cold. We lose more deals to silence than to a “no”
Find out what the person is dealing with, work out if we can actually help, and pitch the right service
Book qualified consultation calls with our senior team
Keep every conversation logged and up to date in the CRM
Spend a few hours a week reaching out to companies we’ve spotted with an obvious reputation problem. It’s a small part of the job but an important one

Monday to Friday, full days, plus a part-time Saturday shift.
South African time zone only. We are only hiring in South Africa. No overnight US/UK shifts.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience closing sales in writing, over email, DMs or WhatsApp. We’ll ask you to show us examples
Very good written English. You’ll be writing to CEOs and business owners, and every message you send represents us
Persistent on follow-up without being irritating. If you’ve ever closed a deal on the sixth message, tell us about it
Good judgement. Our clients are dealing with something sensitive. There’s a right way and a wrong way to speak to someone who has just been defamed, and knowing the difference matters more to us than slick sales talk
Self-motivated. Nobody will be watching over your shoulder. If you need chasing to hit your numbers, this won’t work
Your own laptop, fibre, plus backup power and backup data. Inbound leads don’t wait for the grid

Google reviews come down almost every time, Reddit is closer to a coin flip. We expect the same honesty from you
You have no goals and need someone to motivate you
PAY
Base salary of $1,000 to $2,000 per month, depending on your experience.
Once you’ve completed the trial period successfully, we’ll discuss commission and performance bonuses on top of your base.
Paid monthly in USD.
