We are hiring a Financial Report Accountant for a high-growth international company in the finance and technology industry. This is a full-time remote role for a UK-based company. This role is ideal for someone who is a qualified accountant with strong IFRS/GAAP expertise, experience in multi-entity operations, and a passion for process improvement and financial excellence in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead preparation and review of consolidated group financial statements (IFRS/GAAP)
Maintain and manage general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
Drive standardization of financial processes across all entities
Optimize ERP systems in collaboration with the Financial Systems Manager (NetSuite)
Perform and support accurate month-end reconciliations and reporting
Ensure strong internal controls and audit compliance
Prepare financial reports for subsidiaries and support weekly cash flow forecasting
Mentor and support junior finance team members, contributing to feedback and prioritization
Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making
Partner with operational teams to align finance with business goals
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability
Required Qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role
In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial consolidation
Demonstrated experience with tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across global teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling company
Prior experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
Exposure to mentoring or supporting junior team members
Knowledge of best practices in process improvement and automation
Required Skills & Tools:
NetSuite ERP (mandatory)
Excel (advanced proficiency)
Financial reporting software and general ledger systems
Strong familiarity with internal controls and audit standards
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time position; standard UK hours in the GMT zone
This is a fully remote job for a UK-based company
Pay ranges from R14000 – R18000/month, depending on experience and skills
Annual raises, performance bonuses, paid holidays, and PTO
