Overview:

Our client is seeking a results-driven Shopify Marketing & Growth Specialist (E-Commerce) to elevate its marketing strategy and accelerate revenue growth for a US-based footwear retail e-commerce brand. In this hands-on role, you will leverage Shopify’s native marketing ecosystem to build automated email and SMS campaigns, optimize product visibility across platforms like the Shop app, and analyze customer data to drive conversions. This position is ideal for a proactive marketer who can translate performance analytics into scalable growth strategies, diagnose conversion gaps, and build high-performing marketing systems that deliver measurable sales impact.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Mountain Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Set up and optimize Shopify’s native email marketing automation to re-engage browsing visitors and previous customers
Implement and manage SMS marketing campaigns using Shopify’s internal tools
Maximize sales through Shopify Shop by optimizing product listings and promotions for in-platform visibility
Analyze customer behavior, traffic sources, and conversion data to identify high-performing channels
Create and execute strategies to scale weekly sales beyond current baseline performance
Recommend and test additional Shopify apps and automations to increase on-site conversion
Manage social media content creation and community engagement to build brand loyalty and drive traffic
Provide weekly performance reports with actionable insights on what’s working and where to focus next

Must-Have Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing for e-commerce brands
Proven hands-on experience with Shopify and its native marketing tools
Strong understanding of email and SMS marketing automation strategies
Ability to analyze marketing data and translate metrics into actionable growth strategies
Experience driving sales through content creation, social media engagement, and customer retargeting
Self-starter who can diagnose gaps, propose solutions, and execute independently

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

Experience scaling sales within the Shopify Shop ecosystem
Experience working with footwear, fashion, or lifestyle e-commerce brands
Familiarity with transitioning from third-party tools back to platform-native solutions
PORTFOLIO or case studies demonstrating measurable revenue growth from Shopify campaigns
