Job Highlights:

Contract type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM UK Time with 1-hour unpaid break
Rate: Up to USD6 per hour approximately USD1,020 per month (to be paid on the selected candidates local currency)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and conversions
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
Optimize on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, content, internal linking)
Manage technical SEO (site speed, indexing, crawlability, schema, Core Web Vitals)
Plan and oversee content SEO strategies with writers or marketing teams
Build and manage link-building and off-page SEO campaigns
Monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush
Track rankings, traffic, and conversions; prepare SEO reports
Identify and resolve SEO issues, penalties, or ranking drops
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices
Collaborate with developers, designers, and marketing teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist / SEO Expert
Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.)
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (SEO perspective)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with content optimization and keyword intent
Ability to work with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
Excellent communication and reporting skills

Organic traffic growth
Keyword ranking improvements
Conversion and revenue growth from organic search
Technical SEO health score
Backlink quality and authority
