π§ Remote Customer Service Representative (South Africa) β Work From Home
We are looking for a professional, reliable, and tech-ready Customer Service Representative based in South Africa to work remotely supporting our customers. You will be given a contract if we feel you have what we need.
Youβll be responding to customer inquiries, helping with orders, and providing excellent service on every interaction.
π Responsibilities
Handle inbound and/or outbound customer calls and messages
Assist customers with orders, questions, and basic troubleshooting
Follow scripts and guidelines while sounding natural and friendly
Accurately capture customer information in our systems
Escalate complex issues when necessary
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team via chat, email, and/or calls
π₯ Technical Requirements (Non-negotiable)
Computer/Laptop with:
Intel i5 / Ryzen 5 processor or better
8GB RAM or more
SSD preferred
Ability to run multiple tabs/programs (browser, CRM, dialer) without freezing
Stable internet connection:
At least 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
Fiber or reliable fixed wireless preferred
Ability to connect via LAN cable is a plus
Headset with clear microphone (noise-cancelling preferred)
Webcam for training and occasional video calls
β‘ Power & Backup Requirements
Because of load-shedding, candidates must have a realistic plan to stay online:
UPS, inverter, generator, or other backup solution for router and/or laptop
Ability to work through scheduled load-shedding
A clear Plan B if both power and internet go down (e.g., alternative location or backup connection)
You will be asked about your setup and backup plan in detail.

1+ year experience in customer service, call center, or virtual assistant roles
Comfortable speaking with U.S.-based customers
Clear, friendly English (spoken and written)
Calm under pressure, patient with upset customers
Organized, reliable, and able to work independently from home
Looking for a serious, long-term remote opportunity

Remote, from home (South Africa)
Must be able to work U.S. hours (exact schedule will be discussed)
