We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Digital Designer to join a growing team. This role offers the chance to shape the future of digital design through cutting-edge technologies and AI tools.
You’ll combine advanced design expertise with AI-driven workflows, SEO insights, and interactive formats to boost engagement and visibility. As a Senior Digital Designer, you will lead the creation of high-performance visual content across multiple channels, including social ads, infographics, interactive tools, and video assets.
The ideal candidate has extensive design experience, proficiency with AI design tools, and a forward-thinking mindset to pioneer innovative approaches to digital content.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Design & Brand Leadership
Create visual assets for ads, blogs, landing pages, and campaigns across eCommerce platforms.
Ensure brand consistency and design quality across client accounts.
Mentor junior designers and set team standards.
Translate client goals into impactful visual solutions.
AI-Enhanced Design
Use AI tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Canva AI, etc.) to create innovative content.
Build AI workflows to boost efficiency and output.
Design interactive content (infographics, videos, polls, quizzes, calculators).
Stay updated on emerging AI design technologies.
Multimedia & Video
Produce graphics, infographics, and short-form video content.
Create explainers, product showcases, and social media videos.
Optimise assets for multiple platforms and formats.
Collaborate with content teams to support SEO/CVO strategies.
Performance-Driven Design
Audit visual content and track design performance metrics.
Optimise assets for SEO (alt tags, structured data, schema).
Design for AI search overviews and LLM training inclusion.
Use data-led insights to guide creative briefs.
Collaboration & Innovation
Work with SEO, content, CVO, and dev teams on scalable design solutions.
Create outreach visuals for backlink campaigns.
Build client relationships and leverage tech partners.
Keep up with the latest design trends and best practices.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Deliver 20–25 high-quality assets monthly.
Maintain 99% accuracy and 100% accessibility compliance.
Complete revisions within 24 hours.
Implement 3+ new AI tools/workflows per quarter.
Produce 10+ AI-enhanced interactive assets monthly.
Achieve 90+/100 design performance scores.
Lead 2+ innovation projects per quarter.
- Salary: starting at $1600 / month, review after 3 months of successful reviews
- Type of Work: Full-time remote
- Work Schedule: UK hours
Requirements
In-depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding of the pros & cons involved in this industry).
Minimum 5 years of professional digital design experience, preferably in eCommerce or agency environments
Proven track record of creating high-converting design assets for digital marketing campaigns
Strong experience creating media for social campaigns that convert.
Experience with AI design tools and emerging creative technologies
Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web development processes
Portfolio demonstrating expertise in eCommerce design, brand development, and performance marketing visuals
Experience working with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce preferred)
Strong project management and client communication skills
Reliable high-speed internet connection (with backup).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with motion graphics and video editing
Knowledge of SEO principles and how design impacts search performance
Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing
Experience with data visualisation and interactive content creation
Background in performance marketing or growth-focused design roles
