Due to a retirement, our client has a rare opportunity within their sales team for an experienced proactive Telephone-Based Business Development Executive to help them grow their customer base and drive repeat sales across the UK.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for generating new business and developing existing relationships with window fitters, fabricators, installers, and other trades. Working remotely by phone, you will promote their specialist product range (with a focus on silicone sealants and consumables) to trade prospects and convert leads into loyal customers. It’s very much repeat business, so providing you retain and develop existing customers whilst bringing on board new ones, your sales and earnings will grow. It’s a substantial but competitive market with lots of business to be won and fought over.

  • Salary: USD$22 000 per annum ($1833 per month) + Uncapped Commission
  • Type of Work: Full-time remote
  • Work Schedule: UK working hours

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to window trade professionals and introduce our range of sealants and consumables.
Understand trade customer needs and recommend appropriate products (e.g., low modulus silicones, glazing sealants, adhesives)
Follow up on warm leads and re-engage dormant accounts
Close sales directly or arrange call-backs and quotes as needed
Maintain a detailed and up-to-date CRM of all interactions and opportunities
Meet and exceed KPIs, including call targets, lead conversions, and monthly revenue
Keep up to date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitors
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless buying experience

Requirements
In-depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding of the pros & cons involved in this industry).
Proven experience in telephone-based sales or business development (B2B)
Knowledge of the window/glazing/fenestration trade is highly desirable, however, not essential.
Familiarity with silicone sealants and related trade consumables is a strong advantage, but full product training will be given to the right candidate.
Confident, clear, and professional phone manner.
Strong relationship builder – able to gain trust and repeat business from trade customers.
Good objection-handling skills and the ability to recognize opportunities.
Target-driven with a self-motivated attitude
Organised and comfortable using CRM or sales tracking software
Confident and competent user of IT.
Please note that you must work from a location that affords privacy to you and our customers, and if working from home, this needs to be a separate room.
Reliable high-speed internet connection (with power backup).
