Business Operator

Star Home is a UK home services company. We arrange removals, specialist moves, repairs and installations across the UK through a network of trusted tradespeople.

The role
You’ll manage our side with the tradespeople. You’ll get prices from contractors, find new ones in different areas, book them in for confirmed jobs, and make sure every job goes ahead smoothly.

What you’ll do

Phone and message UK tradespeople to get prices for jobs, quickly
Find and add new contractors in different areas using Google and directories
Book contractors for confirmed jobs, send job details and confirm the day before
Check jobs were completed and deal with any issues
Keep our contractor database and job records up to date in our CRM
What we’re looking for

Excellent spoken and written English, and confident making outbound calls
Experience in admin, scheduling, dispatch, procurement or customer service
Very organised, able to juggle several jobs at once, and follows things through
Confident with phone, WhatsApp, email, Google and spreadsheets or a CRM
Reliable internet and power backup (inverter or UPS) for load shedding. Essential.

Hours and pay

Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm UK time (11am–7pm SA time)
£140 per week (about R3,200 per week, paid weekly)
Plus a bonus for every completed job
Fully remote, long-term role for the right person
