HR & COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR & Compliance Coordinator to support our children’s residential services.

This is a varied role combining HR advisory support, employee relations, investigations, safer recruitment and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and senior leadership to ensure HR processes are handled fairly, consistently and in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Employment Details
Location: Remote – South Africa
Full-Time
Salary: R14,000 per month, increasing to R16,000 per month following successful completion of probation
Bonus: Performance-related bonus structure available
Reports to: Operations Manager / Director

Key Responsibilities
Provide HR advice and guidance to managers
Conduct fact-finding and workplace investigation meetings
Compile clear and professional investigation reports
Support disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance processes
Prepare formal HR correspondence and hearing documentation
Coordinate safer recruitment, including DBS, Right to Work and references
Maintain staff compliance, probation, supervision and training records
Support safeguarding and regulatory compliance across our children’s homes
Maintain audit-ready HR and compliance records
Identify and escalate employment, safeguarding and compliance risks

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in an HR advisory, employee relations, HR coordination or similar generalist role
• Strong employee relations and case-management experience
• Experience conducting investigations and producing investigation reports
• Experience supporting disciplinary and grievance processes
• Confidence providing HR guidance to managers
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS principles
• Strong written communication and organisational skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally

Desirable
• Relevant HR qualification or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working in a regulated or care-related environment
• Safeguarding or compliance experience
• Safer recruitment experience
