EBS Maintenance is a growing commercial janitorial and facility-maintenance company serving businesses throughout Southern California. We are looking for a confident, dependable, and results-driven Virtual Assistant based in South Africa to support our sales outreach.

Your primary goal will be to schedule qualified facility walkthroughs with decision-makers who are actively interested in commercial cleaning services.

Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to commercial businesses using a provided prospect list
Identify and speak with facility managers, property managers, office managers, operations managers, and other decision-makers
Introduce EBS Maintenance and explain our commercial janitorial services
Ask qualifying questions about the facility’s current cleaning needs
Send personalized follow-up emails
Follow up consistently with interested prospects
Schedule qualified facility walkthroughs on our calendar
Maintain accurate notes and update the prospect tracker or CRM daily
Provide a daily report showing calls, conversations, emails, follow-ups, and appointments
Help verify or locate missing contact information when necessary
Performance Goal:

The goal is to schedule at least four qualified, completed facility walkthroughs per month. An appointment is considered qualified when the prospect:

Is responsible for or involved in selecting cleaning vendors
Represents a commercial facility within our Southern California service area
Has a genuine current or upcoming need
Agrees to an in-person facility walkthrough
Attends the scheduled appointment
Requirements:

Must be located in South Africa
Excellent spoken and written English
Clear, confident, and professional telephone voice
Previous cold-calling, telemarketing, lead-generation, or appointment-setting experience
Comfortable speaking with gatekeepers and senior decision-makers
Experience using Google Sheets, email, calendars, and CRM systems
Reliable computer, headset, high-speed internet, and quiet workspace
Ability to work during California business hours
Organized, persistent, honest, and comfortable being measured by performance
Experience calling commercial businesses or selling janitorial, facility-maintenance, property-management, or other B2B services is strongly preferred.

Schedule and Compensation:

Approximately 20 hours per week
Monday through Friday
Initial two-week paid trial
Hourly compensation based on experience
Performance bonuses may be offered for qualified walkthroughs that take place
Opportunity for a long-term position based on results
