Staff Accountant – (HR48847)

POSITION: Staff Accountant
Location: Remote
Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Mountain Time, Monday–Friday; schedule flexibility may be available after onboarding for candidates in significantly different time zones
Compensation: $2,500/month

Note: Independent contractor position

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

* Enter and code bills and expenses accurately in QuickBooks Online.
* Match bills and transactions to the appropriate jobs and records in ServiceTitan.
* Reconcile bank accounts, deposits, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.
* Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and follow up with internal team members to obtain missing information.
* Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections and outstanding-balance follow-up.
* Prepare weekly payroll files and support payroll-related accounting activities.
* Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure transactions are properly categorized and documented.
* Support weekly and monthly management reporting.
* Assist with the preparation and maintenance of a 13-week cash flow forecast.
* Complete month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and required journal entries.
* Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
* Maintain a high standard of first-review accuracy, with a target of at least 98%.
* Ensure QuickBooks Online and ServiceTitan records are accurately aligned at month-end.
