POSITION: Mitigation Documentation Specialist
Location: Remote (Globally) | Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST) | Compensation: 1200 – 1800 USD/month | Independent contractor position

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work quickly through high volumes of information without overlooking errors.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify inconsistencies or information that does not make sense.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed processes and carrier-specific documentation requirements.
• Comfortable working with technical information, digital records, and specialized software.
• Ability to learn new systems and workflows quickly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily queue of assignments.
• Comfortable asking questions and escalating discrepancies when clarification is needed.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote-work environment.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
• Nice-to-Haves:
• Previous experience in water mitigation, property restoration, insurance, construction, or a related industry.
• Experience preparing insurance carrier or compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with Clean Claims, Cotality Mitigate, or similar restoration software.
• Experience working with drying logs, moisture readings, equipment records, or mitigation sketches.
• Background in quality assurance, data validation, documentation review, or high-volume data processing.
• Experience working remotely with a U.S.-based company or team.
