Leading Tuition is a UK-based online tuition company looking for a reliable South Africa-based remote assistant to help respond to new parent enquiries and provide client support.
This is a flexible, part-time role of approximately 10–20 hours per week.
The main responsibility is responding to new leads quickly. When a parent enquires about tuition, you will need to respond promptly, call them where appropriate, understand what tuition they require and help arrange the next step.
Responsibilities include:
Responding quickly to new parent enquiries
Calling warm leads who have already enquired about tuition
Having short calls of approximately 15 minutes with parents
Booking trial lessons or consultation calls
Sending follow-up messages by email or WhatsApp
Updating basic client and lead information
Helping with light client administration
This is not cold calling. You will only be contacting parents who have already expressed an interest in tuition.
The ideal candidate will have:
Exceptional written and spoken English
A friendly and confident telephone manner
Excellent reliability and responsiveness
The ability to respond to leads within a few minutes during agreed availability
Strong organisation and basic administration skills
A quiet place to work
Reliable internet access
Their own computer and phone
A South African bank account
Customer service, sales support, appointment setting, administration, education or call-centre experience would be useful but is not essential.
