We are hiring a **Low-Voltage Security Systems Specialist** to support the remote programming, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of camera, access control, and fire alarm systems.
The primary focus of this role is **Ubiquiti UniFi cameras, UniFi Access, and Potter fire alarm systems**.
Experience with other low-voltage platforms is helpful but not required.
This is a technical systems role, not general desktop IT support.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Configure and support **Ubiquiti UniFi cameras and UniFi Access systems**
* Assist with programming and technical coordination for **Potter fire alarm systems**
* Assign IP addresses and adjust basic network and device settings
* Test cameras, card readers, door access, video feeds, and system connectivity
* Troubleshoot software, network, and device communication issues
* Prepare systems remotely before final installation or deployment
* Coordinate with project managers and field technicians during setup and troubleshooting
* Document system settings, testing results, and completed configurations
* Provide occasional support for urgent technical issues when needed
*Required Qualifications*
* Hands-on experience with **Ubiquiti UniFi cameras or UniFi Access**
* Experience working with **Potter fire alarm systems** or similar commercial fire alarm platforms
* Understanding of IP networking, including IP addresses, gateways, and device connectivity
* Experience with low-voltage security, surveillance, access control, or fire alarm systems
* Ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically
* Strong attention to detail
* Clear English communication skills
* Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote field teams
* Availability during U.S. business hours
*Preferred Experience*
Familiarity with any of the following is helpful but not required:
* Digital Watchdog camera and VMS systems
* Paxton access control
* Akuvox intercoms
* Hikvision cameras and NVRs
* Other camera, access control, intercom, or fire alarm platforms
* Remote system programming and pre-installation testing
