ACCOUNT MANAGER (DEALERSHIP SALES & DISTRIBUTION)

We are looking for exceptional Account Managers who can build trusted relationships, influence outcomes, grow market share, and become the person Dealer Principals, F&I Managers and dealership teams rely on when they want to improve performance.
The Opportunity
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, growing and valuing dealership relationships across your allocated territory.
You will act as a trusted business partner to Dealer Principals, F&I Managers, Sales Managers and dealership teams.
Your success will be measured by your ability to:
Grow premium sales
Increase product penetration
Expand market share
Strengthen dealer engagement

Become the preferred partner within your dealership network
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
This is a highly visible, field-based role that combines relationship management, sales growth, training, strategy and problem-solving.
Dealer Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Dealer Principals, F&I Managers, and Sales Teams.
Become the trusted advisor dealerships turn to for guidance, support and solutions.
Conduct regular, meaningful dealership engagements that drive commercial outcomes.
Business Growth & Market Expansion
Grow premium sales and product penetration across your portfolio.
Identify opportunities to increase dealership performance and market share.
Drive the adoption of Motorvaps products and solutions.
Execute territory growth plans and strategic account initiatives.
Dealer Performance Improvement
Analyse dealer stock, finance approvals, take-up rates and sales performance.
Convert data into practical actions that improve dealership results.
Identify trends, risks and opportunities within your territory.
Training & Capability Development
Deliver impactful product and sales training.
Equip dealership teams with the knowledge and confidence to sell effectively.
Ensure dealerships understand product features, benefits and customer value propositions.
Market Intelligence
Monitor industry developments, competitor activity and emerging trends.
Provide insights and recommendations that strengthen our market position.
Brand Representation
Represent Motorvaps professionally at dealer events, networking functions and industry engagements.
Build credibility and trust in every interaction.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Matric / Grade 12
3 to 5 years’ solid and demonstrable experience in Account Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, or Dealership Relations
Valid driver’s licence.
Willingness to travel extensively within your allocated region.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Competitive Advantages:
Experience within the automotive, short-term insurance, financial services or VAPS industry will be highly advantageous.
Relevant Degree or Diploma which has practically contributed to your career growth and success
