About the job
We’re Hiring: SEO & Website Manager

Company Description

Productside is dedicated to supporting Product Leaders on their journey to excel in product management. Our Training + Advisory approach eliminates the guesswork, helping teams achieve greater product success in the market. We provide actionable frameworks, leadership engagement, custom training, and organization-wide support to drive positive change and measurable wins. Additionally, we offer industry-standard certifications through our strategic partner, AIPMM.

The Role

Productside is looking for a technically-minded SEO & Website Manager to own our digital presence and drive organic growth. This is a full time remote role. Candidate will be expected to work U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours.

 What You’ll Do:

• Manage and maintain our WordPress website day-to-day using Elementor (content updates, page builds, performance, UX improvements)

• Handle technical website tasks independently (you won’t need to rely on a developer for routine updates and fixes)

• Develop and execute SEO strategy: on-page, technical, and off-page

• Conduct regular site audits and resolve technical SEO issues

• Build and manage a link building strategy including outreach, partnerships, and earning quality backlinks

• Perform keyword research and competitive analysis

• Track, report, and act on organic performance metrics

• Support and optimize our ecommerce experience to improve visibility and conversions

• Collaborate with content, design, and product teams

What We’re Looking For:

• In-house experience managing both SEO and a company website directly (agency-only backgrounds will not be considered)

• Comfortable and confident managing WordPress and Elementor (building pages, troubleshooting issues, managing plugins)

• Technically fluent with websites

• Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, PAA tools, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush

• Experience with ecommerce (WooCommerce or similar)

• Strong understanding of technical SEO (crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema, site speed, etc.)

• Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action

• Strong communication skills: you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Bonus Points:

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge

• Familiarity with WooCommerce

• Experience with GA4

• Experience with a website migration or relaunch

• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO)

If you’ve owned SEO and a WordPress site in-house and love the craft of growing organic traffic, we’d love to hear from you.
