RainChekk exists to help the world’s most exciting marine and yachting businesses dominate their markets. We are a founder-led digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, Meta Ads, and Web Design for the global yacht and marine industry. We are lean, intentional, and growing fast, and we are building a small but elite team of good humans who are as passionate about results as they are about life outside of work.
Join us as an Account Manager & Operations Lead, own the engine, grow the team, and help us scale into new waters.
As our first full-time hire, you will be the operational backbone of RainChekk. You will take full ownership of our client portfolio, manage our remote contractor network, and free our founder up to focus on scaling the business into new, higher-end territory globally.
This is not a role where you clock in, complete a list, and clock out. You will be building systems, managing people, communicating constantly, and proactively identifying what needs to happen next, before anyone has to ask you.
You will report directly to the founder and CEO, and you will be measured on client retention, contractor output quality, and the operational health of the agency.
This is a perfect opportunity for either a seasoned operator with 3-5 years of agency or lead account management experience, or a high-potential rising star who can prove, through their work ethic, systems thinking, and track record, that they are ready to own this role completely.
As Account Manager & Operations Lead at RainChekk, your mission will be to:
Own the client experience – be the primary face of RainChekk for our global marine and yachting clients. Run onboarding, manage ongoing relationships, and keep retention rock solid.
Manage the engine – oversee our remote contractor team (SEO specialists, media buyers, web developers). You are the final quality check before anything reaches a client.
Communicate relentlessly – be the connective tissue between our clients, contractors, and CEO. Proactive, clear, and timely communication is the single most critical skill in this role.
Build the systems – take ownership of our tech stack (GoHighLevel, Notion, Slack) and continuously find ways to make us faster, sharper, and more efficient using AI and automation.
Grow the team – as we scale, you will take charge of finding, vetting, and onboarding new contractors and future team members.
Help shape what’s next – we are actively developing new, higher-end service offerings for the global marine industry. You will play a direct role in helping us build and deliver those.
After 3 months, success will look like:
You have taken full ownership of all client communications and the CEO is no longer the day-to-day point of contact for any active account.
You have completed onboarding for all current clients and have a clear picture of each client’s goals, status, and upcoming milestones.
You have implemented or improved at least one internal system or workflow that has made the agency measurably more efficient.
You have a clear contractor management process in place, with quality checks happening before deliverables reach clients.
Our GoHighLevel CRM is clean, up to date, and something the CEO can look at without needing to ask you for a status update.
You have proactively flagged at least one risk or opportunity across the portfolio that the CEO had not identified yet.

Experience:
3-5 years in Account Management, Agency Operations, or Lead Client Success – OR a demonstrable track record that proves you are ready to step up into this level of responsibility.
Experience managing remote contractors or cross-functional teams.
Comfortable running client calls, writing clear updates, and keeping internal systems meticulously up to date.
Familiarity with tools like GoHighLevel, Notion, Slack, or equivalent platforms.
Strong written and verbal English. You will be communicating with US and international clients daily.
Bonus if you have:
Experience working in or a genuine interest/passion for the marine, yachting, or luxury lifestyle industry.
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Local SEO, or web design project management.
Built AI automations, workflows, or custom systems to eliminate inefficiencies.
Previously worked in a startup or scale-up environment where the job description was always evolving.
