Position: Lawyers (South Africa)
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $40–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 2–3 weeks (subject to change)
Commitment: Minimum of 10 hours/week, maximum of 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Document Compilation: Collect and organize publicly available legal and financial documents in accordance with project guidelines.
Ensure Accuracy: Verify that all compiled materials are accurate, complete, and clear.
Structured Documentation: Follow defined documentation processes to meet quality standards and ensure consistency.
Source Verification: Ensure that all documents are obtained from verified, public platforms.
Asynchronous Collaboration: Work with the project manager asynchronously to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
Strong professional experience of active legal practice experience in South Africa.
Prior experience in litigation or corporate/transactional law.
Familiarity with South African legal and regulatory document sources.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured documentation requirements.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work within short timelines.
